- Identify recurring issues and propose design improvements to address them structurally.
- Contribute to mechanical and electrical design (e.g. layout, piping, or instrumentation).
- Assist with PLC programming and automation tasks.
- Make or adapt CAD drawings (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Collaborate with R&D to optimize systems from concept to operation.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- (Professional) bachelor's degree or associate degree in industrial design, electromechanics, automation, or related field.
- Strong technical insight with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude.
- Interest or experience in both field work and technical design.

- Located in Flanders (operational base will be Kortrijk)
- Willingness to travel occasionally to pilot sites (BE and NL).
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
What we can offer
- A varied and meaningful role combining engineering design and practical fieldwork.
- Opportunities to learn and grow in water technology, automation, and system design.
- Flexible working conditions (full-time or part-time).
