The role of the Operations Manager

As Operations Manager Horsetrucks & Motorhomes, you will manage the entire operational flow of the customer experience — from order to delivery and aftercare.

Your operational coordination starts in the sales department: you monitor the production flow from Belgium, in close collaboration with our production managers in the United States (horse trucks) and Hungary (motorhomes).

You are the link that ensures that every detail is correct and that every vehicle meets the customer's expectations exactly.

Within the Service department, you are ultimately responsible for guaranteeing customisation, monitoring quality and taking customer satisfaction to the next level.

X Operational management

• Managing the entire operational chain for horse trucks and motorhomes
• Translating commercial orders into clear production and service orders
• Monitoring delivery and production schedules in collaboration with production sites in Belgium, the US and Hungary
• Continuously improving processes in terms of efficiency, quality and communication

X Quality control and customisation

• Ensuring the flawless execution of customisation projects
• Coordinating finishing, technical adjustments and customer-specific requirements
• Ensuring that every vehicle exudes Stephex quality — down to the smallest details
• Responsible for final inspection and customer satisfaction upon delivery

X Leadership and collaboration

• Leading the Stephex Service team in Merchtem
• Coordinating service, technical and finishing teams
• Working closely with Sales, Leasing, After Sales and Customer Experience
• Motivating employees and encouraging ownership and craftsmanship

X Communication and customer focus

• Acting as a point of contact for internal teams and customers regarding operational questions
• Ensuring transparent communication about status, timing and quality
• Translating feedback into improvement actions and sustainable customer relationships

X Strategy and optimisation

• Analysing operational performance and setting up improvement initiatives
• Reporting to the management team on planning, returns and customer satisfaction
• Contributing to the further professionalisation and scalability of Stephex Service
