CUSTOMER RETENTION MANAGER (IT / TELECOM SECTOR - AFRICA & LATAM)


We are actively seeking an experienced Customer Retention Manager to join an innovative international company dedicated to fighting telecom fraud (including SIM-swap, interconnection abuse, SIMbox fraud, mobile money fraud, and more). Based in Ghent, you will be responsible for a portfolio of strategic clients across Africa and Latin America, playing a central role in contract renewals, client relationship strengthening, and payment follow-up. You will evolve within a human-sized, agile, multicultural organization with a strong international impact. Manage a portfolio of telecom key accounts across Africa and Latin America. Lead contract renewals: anticipate deadlines, coordinate internally, and follow up proactively. Maintain strong client relationships through rigorous follow-up of actions and related documentation. Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure effective customer credit control, including payment monitoring, reminders, and collection actions. Accurately document every stage of the sales cycle and streamline internal processes. Higher degree in business, management, or communications Proven experience in managing B2B client portfolios, ideally within the telecom or IT industry Solid understanding of African and LATAM markets Skilled in managing strategic client relationships and operating in multicultural environments Excellent command of French and English (C1 level minimum), Spanish is a valuable asset Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset Excellent client relationship management with a proactive and personalized approach Appreciation for multicultural environments and international collaboration Permanent contract (CDI) within a dynamic, i...
