BI Developer – Ghent (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced BI Developer who enjoys designing scalable data solutions, building end-to-end BI pipelines, and transforming raw data into meaningful insights? Do you thrive in a technical BI environment with modern Microsoft tooling? Then this could be the ideal assignment for you.

Amoria Bond is currently recruiting for a BI Developer to join a core BI team supporting reporting and analytics across European and North-American business units. You will work on high-impact BI and data warehouse initiatives while collaborating with functional analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and maintaining data warehouse structures across multiple architectural layers

• Building BI solutions that integrate data from diverse source systems

• Developing, optimising, and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS and Fabric pipelines

• Translating functional requirements into robust technical specifications

• Developing, testing and documenting clean, reliable BI code

• Supporting end-users with reporting issues and ensuring data accuracy

• Monitoring BI operations and proactively resolving data inconsistencies

• Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing within the BI team

Skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

• Experience with data modelling and data warehouse design

• Strong hands-on experience with:

– MS SQL Server (DB Services)

– SSIS / ETL development

– SSAS Tabular models

– Power BI (reports & models)

– Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Pipelines)

Nice to have:

• SSRS

• Databricks

• Python Notebooks

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

You are a proactive and curious BI professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, data-driven environment. You combine technical depth with strong communication skills and enjoy translating complex data into clear insights. You are structured, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary BI team.
