Our client, a highly regarded business law firm based in Brussels, is seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer to strengthen their Employment & Benefits practice. You’ll be advising prestigious corporate clients on both Belgian and international employment law matters—covering everything from advisory work and litigation to strategic HR support and cross-border issues.

Your function

You will:

• Advise on a wide range of individual and collective employment law matters
• Provide strategic input on reorganisations, collective dismissals and union negotiations
• Represent clients in legal proceedings and complex negotiations
• Integrate employment law advice into broader corporate and transactional contexts
• Co-lead client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives
• Mentor junior associates and actively engage in internal knowledge sharing

Your profile

We are looking for a dynamic and pragmatic professional with:

• 4 to 10 years of solid experience in employment law in a law firm
• A Belgian Master’s in Law with strong academic results; an LL.M. in Social Law is a plus
• Native Dutch proficiency, with excellent command of English; knowledge of French is a bonus
• A commercial mindset and strong legal drafting skills
• The ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, client-oriented advice
