Communication Officer/Media Manager


We are currently looking for a Senior Communication Officer / Media Manager to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support communication and policy teams with general communication, campaign and project management tasks.
  • Plan and implement communication campaigns across multiple media channels, including social media and programmatic advertising.
  • Identify the most effective media channels and propose creative concepts for campaigns, events, workshops and panels.
  • Draft and design engaging presentations, briefings and speaking points for the communication team, team leaders and senior management.
  • Contribute to event creation and organisation—including an annual flagship event—covering creative concept, logistics, promotional materials and on-site coordination.
  • Manage promotional activities for events (coordination with suppliers, shipments, event organisers, and designers).
  • Liaise and coordinate with external contractors and report back to the communication team and management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners inside and outside.
  • Monitor KPIs and report results in a structured manner (PowerBI, Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Europa Analytics, etc.).

Technical skills:

  • Strong experience in online advertising (programmatic ads, Google Search, Google GDN, YouTube campaigns).
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Teams, Webex and SharePoint.
  • Strong drafting, copywriting and presentation design skills.
  • Knowledge of brand management, IPR and EU branding rules.
  • Graphic skills are a plus.

Profile:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Proven experience as a Communication Officer, Media Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; French or other EU languages are a strong advantage.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to propose campaign concepts and media strategies while respecting branding guidelines.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience managing small and large events.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in multicultural teams.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to identify partnership opportunities to amplify communication activities.
  • Based in Brussels or willing to work from Brussels.
