Working in the Procurement & Supply Chain Team

As a Demand & Supply Planner, you'll be part of the Procurement & Supply Chain team, working closely with colleagues from procurement, logistics, production planning, and sales. You'll have the opportunity to improve processes, manage risks, and contribute to inventory and capacity planning through a data-driven approach.

Your responsibilities as Demand & Supply Planner: 

• You are responsible for managing the supply chain of critical materials.
• You ensure optimal inventory planning, initiate call-offs, and determine appropriate safety stocks and inventory levels — taking into account contracts, shelf life, rotation speed, and minimum order quantities.
• You monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential bottlenecks.
• You strive for the right balance between delivery reliability, cost efficiency, and optimal use of warehouse capacity.
• You follow up on deliveries, coordinating the spread of incoming goods and handling complaints or issues as they arise.
• You collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, production, logistics) to continuously improve planning processes.
• You organize and process stock counts, and report on key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and more.

Our ideal Demand & Supply Planner: 

• You have 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or demand planning.
• You're ready to apply your experience in a more analytical capacity.
• You have hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• You are data-driven, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• You are a strong communicator who stands their ground — you're not afraid to set boundaries and prioritize effectively.
• You're a critical thinker who asks the right questions to uncover what's truly needed.
• You are respectful and eager to learn from experienced colleagues, while also capable of translating their approach into digital processes.
• You are ambitious, hands-on, and motivated to take ownership in the near future.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
