We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Lead who will drive and deliver technical projects within the IT Infrastructure in conjunction with both internal and external partners.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Maintain productive relationships with business partners & IT groups, ensuring their needs are understood and met to enhance satisfaction.
- Partner with OpCo Heads of IT and Regional IT Directors regarding IT project delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered against agreed standards and quality, following established methodology with formal handover into operation teams.
- Ensure all stakeholders have visibility and understanding of project progress and performance
- Continuous Improvement
- Proactively recommending and suggesting service improvements in the areas of reliability, performance, availability, security, supportability, or cost throughout the projects and for future projects\roadmaps.
- Assist in providing good value solutions.
- Identify skills needed within then project and ensure sourcing is available and agreed for the duration of the project
- Drive effective performance management, coaching and personal development for all team members so that everyone achieves their full potential.
- Provide feedback to direct leaders for project aligned team members at the close of project
- Deliver engaging team and individual communication ensuring regular weekly team briefings and cascade on IT leadership communications.
PROCESS & GOVERNANCE
- Create the appropriate project management documentation in accordance with the project framework.
- Accountable for end-to-end management of assigned projects and hand-over/transitions.
QUALIFICATONS REQUIRED & LEVEL OF EDUCATION
- Bachelor level or equivalent IT experience
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- IT Leadership / Management in IT / Multinational Business / Matrix organizations / Logistics Experience / Market Awareness / General IT knowledge
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Project Management / Strong Relationship Management / Experience of successfully implementing & communicating projects / Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Kanban, and Azure DevOps / Knowledge of Agile using Scrum/Kanban framework and techniques of continuous improvement.
