Data Architect

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Platform Architect to drive the design and evolution advanced data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data architectures aligned data strategies

• Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their fit for business needs.

• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and define data use cases.

• Assess current data platforms, identify weaknesses, and provide actionable recommendations.

• Lead efforts to enhance data ingestion, processing, and integration.

• Drive the transition from batch data processing to real-time Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms.

• Map and merge diverse data sources while ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in data management and architecture.

• Strong understanding of data office/platform roles and their strategic purpose.

• Expertise in the Azure data ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Databricks, and Erwin.

• Deep knowledge of data mesh, data lakehouse concepts, and modern data frameworks.

• Strong data flow mapping and data source integration skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in data modeling and schema design.

• Hands-on experience transforming batch data loading into CDC processes.
