Engineering & Facilities Portfolio & Governance Lead


Make your mark for patients

We're looking for an Engineering and Facilities Portfolio & Governance Lead who is strategic, detail-oriented, and results-driven to join us in our campus based in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

About the role

You will lead long-term investment planning and annual budgeting, ensuring project prioritization and governance for strategic initiatives. You'll oversee a global investment portfolio with an annual CAPEX of around €400M, facilitating governance committees to ensure alignment with company strategy.

Who you'll work with

You'll be part of an international team, working closely with business partners, engineering teams, finance leadership, and external stakeholders. You'll manage a team of professionals and collaborate with senior decision-makers.

What you'll do


• Develop and implement long-term CAPEX investment strategy
• Lead global portfolio and investment project management
• Facilitate governance committees and support decision-making
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk, and budget
• Develop your team and foster innovation and customer focus
• Ensure compliance with governance policies and best practices

Interested? For this role, we're looking for the following education, experience, and skills


• Master's degree in engineering, finance, or related field (MBA is a plus)
• Certification in project management, finance, or Lean Six Sigma
• 10+ years' experience in portfolio/project management in pharma/biotech
• 3+ years' experience leading teams in engineering or manufacturing
• Excellent command of portfolio management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
• Strategic mindset, rigor, leadership, and outstanding communication skills
• French and English mandatory.
