Project Engineer

START: ASAP – (January 2026)

LOCATION: Kortrijk, Belgium

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

SALARY: €4500-€5500 per month + package

Specification:

· Experience as a Project Engineer within the Process Industry

· Experience working in full-lifecycle projects

· Engineering education and qualification (degree preferable)

· Experience with process equipment

· Fluent Dutch Speaker

I am currently looking for a Project Engineer to work on an opportunity within the Chemical Industry. This role is working on CAPEX and OPEX projects around the plant and you will be required to be involved in the full life-cycle of the project.

The client is a market leader in the Speciality Chemical Industry. They are ideally looking for candidates with a background as a project engineer within the process industry.

The requirement for the role is to working in the Manufacturing Plant in Kortrijk and report into the Plant Director and Engineering Manager.

You will be tasked with investigating and running projects for problem areas which are related to safety, quality and productivity of the plant and the production process.
