Quality Assurance Manager

Your impact

As QEHS Lead, you are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and continuously improving our quality, safety, health and environmental policy. You combine operational responsibility with a strategic role towards R&D and innovation. Thanks to your expertise, our products remain safe, sustainable and of top quality.

ROLE

Quality & Food Safety

  • You are the owner of the entire quality system (HACCP, BRC/IFS) and you continuously elevate it. Your scope ranges from accurately managing all product specifications in customer portals to flawless ingredient traceability and CAPA follow-up:
    you hold all the strings.
  • You see external audits as an opportunity to shine. You coordinate them seamlessly and ensure that any action points become real improvements on the production floor—not just items on a to-do list.

Safety & Environment

  • You make Safety and Environment tangible. You don't just create an annual action plan; you build a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • You organize impactful trainings and, as
    Environmental Coordinator B
, you monitor waste and energy streams.

Hygiene

  • Impeccable hygiene is not a checklist, but the foundation of our premium desserts. You fully take ownership of this domain.
  • You design and optimize cleaning plans, dig into the technical side to validate our CIP cycles, and—most importantly—bring it all to life on the shop floor.
  • Through your convincing training sessions, you ensure every colleague not only knows but also
    embraces
    the crucial role of hygiene.

R&D and Innovation

  • You believe that standing still means falling behind, and you initiate product improvements based on insights from quality controls, customer contacts, and complaint handling.
  • You use this input to support recipe development and ensure our recipes are continuously fine-tuned.

Reporting and KPIs

  • Numbers are not a goal for you, but powerful tools.
  • You create clear monthly QESH reports and dive into deviation analyses.
  • By managing and analyzing lab results, you are the first to spot trends and translate these insights into concrete improvement actions on the production floor.

PROFILE

  • Preferably you have a
    Master's degree
in a relevant field (e.g., Biosciences, Bio-Engineering, Industrial Sciences) and at least
    3 years of experience
in a QA/QC or QESH role within the food industry.
  • You have knowledge of
    HACCP, BRC/IFS, ISO 22000
    .
  • You possess certificates for
    Prevention Advisor Level 2
    and
    Environmental Coordinator B
, or you are motivated to obtain these in the short term.
  • As an analytical thinker, you understand complex data and quickly recognize trends in, for example, lab results. Your accuracy and structured approach ensure flawless documentation and follow-up.
  • You are a proactive and independent professional who takes ownership. Thanks to strong communication skills, you can both convince and train internal stakeholders.
  • You communicate excellently in Dutch and have a good command of English.
