FUSIT is looking for an experienced ICT Observability Engineer to help build and optimize our observability capabilities across hybrid environments. In this role, you will enable proactive monitoring, faster incident resolution, and high service reliability for critical IT platforms and applications.

Role summary

As an ICT Observability Engineer, you design, implement, and maintain observability pipelines and dashboards using technologies such as OpenTelemetry and SigNoz. You work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to make complex systems transparent and measurable through high-quality telemetry data (logs, metrics, traces).

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain observability platforms and telemetry pipelines in hybrid environments (cloud and on‑premise).
• Instrument systems and applications using OpenTelemetry to collect logs, metrics, and traces.
• Design, build, and optimize dashboards, alerts, and service maps to monitor performance, reliability, and availability.
• Support incident investigation and root cause analysis using observability data.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to improve monitoring, automation, and end‑to‑end visibility.

Required skills and experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with observability tools and frameworks (e.g. OpenTelemetry, SigNoz, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Solid understanding of monitoring concepts: logs, metrics, traces, alerting, and SLO/SLA/SLI principles.
• Experience with hybrid and cloud environments (Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems).
• Scripting or automation skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with ITSM or incident management tools (e.g. ServiceNow).
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills to work effectively across technical teams
