Senior System Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior System Design Engineer with strong expertise in system software, IT infrastructure, and CI/CD environments. In this role, you will design, validate, and support complex systems while ensuring compliance with requirements and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, enhance reliability, and drive continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into system-level designs and architecture.
• Evaluate design options, assess trade-offs, and validate compliance with requirements and standards.
• Support system deployment, ensuring quality and full alignment with functional and non-functional needs.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges related to performance, capacity, and reliability.
• Maintain and optimize Jenkins pipelines, including Java-based frameworks, plugin updates, and security advisories.
• Resolve build failures and pipeline issues, ensuring smooth delivery workflows.
• Upgrade and maintain Eclipse IDE (Windows), including plugins and configurations.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design decisions, and pipeline processes.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex incidents and contribute to permanent solutions.
• Contribute to innovation, propose system improvements, and participate in continuous optimization initiatives.
• Take part in on-call duties for systems under your responsibility.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in system design, infrastructure, or DevOps environments.
• Strong command of Java (Java 8+).
• Solid hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE (plugins, updates, configuration).
• Experience using build tools such as Ant and Maven.
• Understanding of SOAP/REST Web Services.
• Experience with SCM tools (Git, Subversion) and UNIX environments.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong ICT background with solid application development knowledge.
• Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline management.
• Build and release engineering expertise.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integrations.
