DevOps Manager (Azure)

Azure DevOps Engineer / Lead – 12-Month Contract – Dutch Speaking

€550 per day | Antwerp + Hybrid | Insurance Client

We’re seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer / Lead (Dutch-speaking) to support a large transformation programme for a major insurance client. Dutch fluency is essential, as you will work closely with on-site stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Details

• Contract: 12 months (extendable)
• Rate: €550 per day
• Location: Remote with up to 2 days per week on-site in Antwerp
• Team: Delivery team led by an on-site technical manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to core DevOps engineering and automation initiatives
• Work directly with customer stakeholders to guide technical decisions
• Build, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps
• Design CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and automation workflows
• Ensure reliability, security, and consistency across cloud environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and architects to maintain delivery quality

Required Experience

• Dutch fluency (mandatory)
• 6+ years in DevOps / cloud engineering roles
• Strong, hands-on expertise in Azure, Azure DevOps, and Terraform (production experience required)
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven experience designing automation solutions — not just operating existing pipelines
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD best practices, tool integrations, and security tooling
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and governance
• Insurance industry experience is a plus
