Job Title: Procurement Expert
About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced procurement expert to join our team, responsible for managing and developing strategic partnerships with suppliers.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category management, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for cost savings, improving supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier innovation.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet business needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new suppliers, ensuring they meet company standards for quality, price, and service.
Seller Relationship Management
- Buid, maintain, and improve relations and contractual conditions with subcontractors.
- Identify and address potential risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Category & Contract Management
- Translate business needs into a category strategy, ensuring synchronization with Group policies and strategic direction.
- Define and implement a proper category strategy, aligned with business needs.
- Manage a portfolio of Framework Agreements with Subcontracting.
- Perform supplier relationship management for subcontractors under Framework Agreement.
Other Responsibilities
- Communicate and apply Group and Equans BeLux procurement governance throughout the organization and towards internal and external stakeholders.
- Support to increase visibility of the procurement activity and organization (internal and external).
- Work towards, follow-up, and report on procurement savings targets in your scope.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
