Senior Project Manager – MEP

An established international engineering and construction business is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager with strong experience in MEP and Field Assembly Integration to join its delivery team. This role plays a key part in the execution of technically complex construction projects, including high-spec data centres and pharmaceutical facilities.

You will have full ownership of the MEP and integration phases of projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position suits a confident leader who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and coordinating multiple disciplines on large-scale builds.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing the delivery of MEP and integration works from early planning through to handover
• Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet programme and quality targets
• Taking ownership of project schedules, cost control, and resource planning
• Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients on MEP-related matters
• Identifying risks early and implementing practical solutions
• Leading progress meetings and providing updates to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ensuring systems are fully tested, commissioned, and handed over in line with specifications
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local building regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant discipline
• Significant experience managing MEP on data center construction projects
• Previous involvement in data centre or pharmaceutical projects would be a strong advantage
• Proven ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors
• Solid understanding of contracts such as FIDIC, NEC, or similar frameworks
• Strong commercial awareness and project reporting skills
• Comfortable working with project planning tools and management systems
• Applicants with PMP certification will be viewed favourably
