Role Overview :

As Business Controller, you will play a key role in bridging financial control with creative production. Working in a matrix structure, you will report functionally to the Executive Producer to ensure financial discipline across productions, while reporting hierarchically to the CFO for consolidation and financial governance. Your role will be to provide accurate financial insights, support project teams, and ensure alignment between artistic ambitions and financial sustainability.

 

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Financial Control: Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of live show projects, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

• Reporting & Analysis: Deliver timely financial reports, KPIs, and variance analyses to the Executive Producer and CFO.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Support project teams during budget preparation, revisions, and rolling forecasts.

• Operational Support: Partner with production managers and department heads to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.

• Risk Management: Identify and flag financial risks or deviations, and propose corrective actions.

• Process Improvement: Contribute to the implementation of tools, procedures, and best practices bridging Finance and Production.

 

Organization & Autonomy :

You will act as a financial interface between Finance, Production, and external partners. This requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate autonomously while coordinating multiple stakeholders. The role demands adaptability, rigor, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced international environment.

 

Profile :

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.

• 2–3 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or project finance (experience in entertainment, media, or creative industries is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

• Fluency in English; French is a plus.

• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; knowledge of ERP tools is an asset.

• Autonomy, flexibility, and interest in working within a multicultural, creative environment.
