About you

• Preferably, you hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, economics or other related field
• You have first experience in an accounting and/or controlling role, with a keen eye for detail and organizational skills
• You are familiar with finance, margins, costs and revenues
• You have a sharp, analytical and proactive mindset
• You are result-oriented with drive for successful outcomes and you meet organizational goals with precision and efficiency
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• You have a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• You are an MS Excel wizard
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Teamleader Orbit, or other relevant software is a plus
• In addition to Dutch, you have excellent English communication skills

What does your typical day look like?

• In terms of controlling

• Monthly reporting of the consolidated financials of the RetailSonar group (5 entities)
• Based on the accounting performed (see above)
• Monthly allocation of timesheets to cost buckets
• Calculation & reporting of Work In Progress (WIP) position
• Transfer pricing
• Monthly accruals of invoices to be received
• Budget versus actual analyses
• Build and monitor budgets together with the CEO, CFO & department managers
• Support the management team by providing accurate and timely reports and financial analyses
• Monthly analyses and reporting of the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
• Monthly reporting of company targets
• Assist in compiling status reports from various tools
• Support in the creation, evaluation and closure of projects by gathering and organizing data
• Ad hoc financial and business controlling (such as implementing new tools & reporting)
• Work on various projects of the "finance roadmap"
• In short, be the right-hand of the CFO.

• In terms of Accounting & contract management

• Continue the current smooth and fairly automated financial accounting of the RetailSonar group.
• GL, AR & AP accounting
• Quarterly Intercompany invoicing
• Prepare weekly payment batches for the CFO
• Support with the preparation of the annual accounts
• Monthly Wage postings
• Credit card bookings
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records to facilitate informed decision-making
• Mainly our Recurring revenue contract lines and projects, which are the backbone of a SaaS company
• Contribute to data-related tasks in different tools (HubSpot, Teamleader orbit,…)
• Assist in invoice follow-ups/collections
• Collaborate with external local accountants in our 4 countries
• In general, provide high-quality administrative and accounting support
