Project Leader - Electrical Infrastructure

Context:

We are looking for a Project Leader in High-Voltage Electrical Infrastructure to join our IKOS team in Belgium.

You will contribute to major projects that strengthen and modernize the Belgian electricity network, substations, overhead lines, and cable systems.

Responsibilities:

You will contribute to all phases of high-voltage infrastructure projects, from early studies to commissioning:

• Perform technical studies, calculations, and feasibility assessments.
• Support the definition, design, and planning of electrical works.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation.
• Prepare tender files and assist with procurement.
• Coordinate on-site activities with contractors and technical teams.
• Provide clear reporting and proactively address project challenges.
• Work independently or with guidance depending on experience.

The role includes regular site visits across Belgium and offers hybrid work.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• Interest in high-voltage systems and the energy sector.
• Experience in project management or site work is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch or French; knowledge of the second is an asset.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
• Valid driving licence.
