NV - Monitoring Analyst


We are looking for a proactive Monitoring Analyst with a keen interest in technology to join our teambrYour role will be critical in monitoring the systems and infrastructure at our customer site in Haren, working for a leader in the aviation sector.brIn this position, you will be the 1st line of support to monitor the behavior of critical-business systems and services, and responsible to take initial actions to diagnose, analyze, and restore systems/services. You will be working closely with other operational and network technical teams. Therefore teamwork, ability to work proactively and self-learning skills are essential for the role.brKey responsibilitiesbrProactively monitor systems and infrastructure in scope (from network and infrastructure components, voice communication systems to mission critical systems)brManaging alerts raised by monitoring systems according to internal proceduresbrApply procedures to restore systems and services and take part in planned and unplanned interventionsbrProvide first line support to internal and external customers via phone, email and walk-in.brReport, document and follow up incidents/tasks in the appropriate toolsbrPerform scheduled health checks of IT components, scheduled contingency tests and disaster recovery exercisesbrReview technical documentation and contribute to the on-going improvement of the working proceduresbrWork autonomously in shifts in a 24*7 environment (shift rotation, on call, etc)brJob requirementsbrProfessional skills and required qualifications:br1+ year of experience on Networking specific Support (focus on Monitoring activities)brGood knowledge of network topologies (LAN/WAN) and operating experience in TCPbrExperience with networking monitoring tools and ability to efficiently troubleshoot monitoring alerts and identify root causesbrGood knowledge of Unix/Linux/WindowsbrExperience with Ticketing Tools and standard Office applicationsbrGood understanding of infrastructure supportbrAbility to strictly follow operating procedures and manuals, strong sense of customer servicebrAbility to read, write and speak English is mandatorybrAbility to work in a shift work environment.
