Yuzzu is currently seeking a Data Engineer

Which are your responsibilities?

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to collect, transform, and load data from various sources (databases, REST APIs, flat files, etc.).
• Model and manage relational and analytical databases.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of data flows.
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, BI, and Product teams to meet business needs.
• Ad-hoc support for reporting activities within the Data & Reporting Team (Power BI, Ad-hoc queries)
• Automate and document data processing workflows.
• Contribute to defining and improving the company’s overall data architecture.

What are your skills and experiences?

Technical skills:

• Strong command of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Solid experience in Python development for data processing and manipulation (pandas, SQL alchemy, etc.).
• Proven experience building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Experience working with REST APIs (data integration, consumption).
• Good understanding of data formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet, etc.).
• Experience with Django is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) is an advantage.

Soft skills:

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Good knowledge in French/Dutch and with a minimal understanding of the other language. English is required.

What is your profile?

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s level);
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Passionate about data, systems, and building efficient data solutions.
