We are seeking a ServiceNow Catalog Item Technical Expert to join our team in Brussels.


Introduction / Context:

In the context of a project for the European Commission, in Brussels, we need to reinforce the team in charge of the EC Service Management tools based on ServiceNow as a SaaS cloud computing software. It involves setting up systems to define, manage, automate, and structure services for companies. (ServiceNow Platform including ITSM, SPM, HR, ... applications).

The ServiceNow Center of Excellence and Innovation (CoE) main services are:

  1. Troubleshooting of the current ServiceNow platform solutions in place (mainly ITSM) for Incident, Service Request, Problem, Change, Service Level, Self-service portal and Knowledge management modules.
  2. Configuration, Deployment, Administration, System Supervision and monitoring of the solutions.
  3. ServiceNow Software updates & Releases deployment. (change/release management)
  4. Continuous improvement. (Monitoring, Release testing and deployment…)


Profile:

This position requires deep technical knowledge and experience in the ServiceNow platform and the Catalog Items solutions. The principal function, using his experience on ServiceNow Platform, will be to help and guide the service in the context of Catalog Items business analysis, development and testing. This position requires valuable experience of ServiceNow roles as ‘Catalog Item builder’, ‘Business analyst’ (to gather and translate business requirements), and ‘Developer - low code’ (to guide some junior/business profiles to build catalogue items, improve flows, ...).


Required skills:

  • ITIL foundation certified (and proven experience with ITIL processes)
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Experience with ITSM tools


Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge and certifications in ServiceNow products (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, ...)
  • ServiceNow Trainings (Scripting in ServiceNow / Application Development
  • Experience with Web services (Xml/Soap/Rest)
  • Knowledge of Java scripting (for light customization purpose)


Required languages:

  • The language requirements include oral and written fluency in EN and FR.


Working conditions:

  • Work shifts of 8 hours daily basis from Monday to Friday.
  • Office located in the centre of Brussels. (Possibility of teleworking)
