About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer to join our team and support mission-critical NATO operations. You will be responsible for maintaining secure Linux environments, deploying software, and ensuring system performance and availability across physical and virtual infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled health checks and log audits on enterprise Linux systems.
• Support engineering teams with software deployment and system operations.
• Daily work with SSH, Ansible, Python, and Bash for deployment, migration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement security best practices, including firewalls, encryption, and access control.
• Troubleshoot system issues, analyse logs, and optimise performance.

Essential Qualifications

Good background in Linux server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu).

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Solid background with Red Hat Ansible.
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (VMware).
• Understanding of Linux security measures.
• Previous NATO experience

Location: Mons, Belgium
Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret
Language: High proficiency in English
