Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Performance & Tuning Consultant to ensure optimal Oracle database performance across environments. You will work closely with infrastructure engineers, business developers, analysts, and application architects to identify, analyse, and resolve performance challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimize Oracle database queries and configurations
• Identify and resolve performance issues in collaboration with business teams
• Develop scripts and tools to automate performance monitoring and diagnostics
• Improve Oracle database architecture and overall efficiency
• Document findings and share best practices across teams
• Provide knowledge transfer and training where required

Required Skills & Expertise

Technical Skills

• Oracle database configuration and performance tuning
• Oracle performance/tuning packs or paid options
• DDL/DML operations
• networking concepts and modern authentication mechanisms
• SQL, PowerShell, Unix/Linux, etc.
• Troubleshooting and automation experience

Work Schedule

• 2 days per week (approx. 100 performance days per year)
• Remote work allowed after an initial familiarisation period
