Operational Buyer

MEOGROUP is looking for an Operational Buyer based in East of Antwerp!

Operational Tasks:

• Manage purchase orders: placing, following up, and receiving to ensure timely material availability.
• Use ERP systems effectively (preferably AX Dynamics) to manage procurement processes, maintain records, and generate reports.
• Improve supply chain coherence and monitor inventory levels.

Strategic Tasks:

• Use advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and support of purchasing-related activities.
• Advise the Head of Procurement on CAPEX investments.
• Propose initiatives to reduce OPEX.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality, and delivery times.
• Select and evaluate suppliers.
• Draft and manage contracts.
• Identify market developments and opportunities.

Your Strengths:

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (AX Dynamics or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong prioritization and time-management capabilities.
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Minimum of a secondary education diploma with a focus on administration or procurement. A higher education degree is a plus.
