Currently, we are looking for a CAD Designer in Lummen (Belgium):

As a CAD Designer, you turn ideas and technical input from engineers, suppliers, and specialists into smart, 3D concept designs that meet customer and packaging requirements. From the first sketch to a production-ready configuration, you shape every detail with precision using Siemens NX. Throughout the product’s lifecycle, you ensure that the design remains up to date and perfectly aligned with evolving needs.

Your responsibilities:

• Creating and managing 3D models, 2D drawings and product data of innovative (energy) systems using Siemens NX.
• Designing products that fit within packaging constraints and meet customer CAD standards.
• Exchanging CAD data with customers and ensuring full design compliance.
• Actively contributing to the development team, generating ideas, challenging proposals, and driving breakthrough solutions.
• Preparing product release packages in Bosal PLM (including e-BOM) and supporting milestone and gate reviews.
• Providing CAD and product information support to other Bosal R&D teams and plants.
• Coordinating CAD work, from input and progress follow-up to job validation.
• Working according to departmental, quality and environmental management system.

Your profile:

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product design.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar (international) environment, preferably wihtin automotive.
• Knowledge of CAD software: Siemens NX and/or Catia.
• You are a team player, independent, enthusiastic and you focus on creating and innovating.
• Excellent Dutch and English language skills.
