We're looking for a Risk and Change Manager with a solid background in Construction to work on a 80MW Data center in Belgium. You will play a key role in providing structured oversight and control across complex construction programmes. Acting within a Project Management Consultancy environment, you will lead the risk, early warning, and change management processes, ensuring transparency, informed decision-making, and effective communication across stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical project controls while working closely with clients, project teams, and subject matter experts to protect programme outcomes and contingency.

In this role, you will:

  • Take overall responsibility for the management and tracking of Early Warning Notifications (EWNs), risk registers, and the change management process.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain the risk, EWN, and change governance framework in line with agreed project procedures.
  • Chair and facilitate EWN, risk, and change review meetings with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Work collaboratively with risk owners to develop realistic risk impact assessments, ensuring mitigation measures are accurately costed and scheduled using best-practice facilitation techniques.
  • Escalate submissions that exceed agreed thresholds and triggers in line with project escalation protocols.
  • Manage change communications, ensuring stakeholders are fully informed of approved changes, actions, and implications.
  • Maintain the client change and risk database, ensuring records are accurate, clearly presented, and fully auditable.
  • Ensure all supporting documentation required for change approval and formal sign-off is complete and compliant.
  • Prepare clear and concise risk and change status reports for inclusion in monthly project reporting.
  • Manage and report to the client on overall project contingency, tracking approved drawdowns against budget and maintaining an up-to-date change order log.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline and have demonstrable experience championing risk and change management.
  • Have experience working on large-scale, complex construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Are comfortable balancing detailed analytical work with a strategic, forward-looking mindset.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Are currently based in, or willing to relocate to, Belgium and have the legal right to work there.
  • Are highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and governance.
  • Thrive in dynamic project environments where you can manage competing priorities and deadlines.
