Job Description:

Core Responsibilities

• Implement a harmonized testing strategy across squads for E2E and UAT phases related to the NBP Program.
• Implement and Evangelize Azure DevOps-based test management and common reporting standards (pipelines, dashboards, traceability) to harmonize the way of working cross squad following guidelines from central NBP team.
• Facilitate and promote Cross Squad Coordination to ensure alignment on dependencies, test execution, test environments, and test data.
• Design and maintain reusable test scenarios: Together with the squad, work on harmonized and recognizable test scenarios which are linked to requirements for domain and cross-domain (E2E) functionality.
• Prepare and execute functional / E2E tests (manual)when required

Soft Skills

• Strong coaching skills: take squads and squad members by the hand and work on a common way of working cross squad.
• Strong communication & stakeholder management: Coordinate across squads, domains, and business users. Align with the central NBP Test team.
• Analytical thinking: Ability to map complex banking processes into testable scenarios.
• Change management: Drive adoption of harmonized testing practices.

Methodology & Process

• Test Techniques: Has strong knowledge of commonly used testing techniques and is able to train others in using these techniques
• Defect Management & Reporting: Understand the need for a harmonized defect management process in large projects to enable cross squad and domain visibility. Takes the lead to organize and manage defect management meetings.
• Test Data Management: Ability to define strategies for synthetic and masked data.
• Shift-left testing mindset: Promote early involvement in design and development.
• Agile: Familiar with agile frameworks and ceremonies.

Technical Skills

• Azure DevOps: Test Plans, Pipelines, Boards, Reporting.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Affinity with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for UI; REST API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Mainframe & Modern Systems Knowledge: Ability to understand legacy COBOL-based flows and new microservices/cloud architecture.
• SQL & Data Validation: Strong skills for validating data migration and integration.
• Performance Testing Tools: Knowledge of JMeter, LoadRunner (for coordination with squads).
