Junior Data Analyst

Job Overview: Data & Business Analyst (EHS Systems) - FREELANCE

We are seeking a Junior Data and Business Analyst for a 6-month mission to support our client's Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department. This role sits at the intersection of system administration and stakeholder management, focusing on the optimization of global QHSE platform (Intelex).

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical IT processes and business needs, ensuring our safety and sustainability reporting systems are efficient and well-supported.

Core Responsibilities :

• System Administration & Support: Assist the Lead Administrator in transitioning support processes into ServiceNOW. Manage user profiles, provide Level 2 technical support, and maintain system documentation.
• Data Visualization: Design, build, and refine reports and dashboards within the Intelex BI platform to provide actionable insights for business units.
• Process Improvement: Act as a liaison between Information Systems (IS) and business stakeholders to gather feedback and implement system enhancements.
• Collaboration: Partner with the "Hermes NXT" team to conduct rigorous testing and development of new reporting features.

Candidate Profile

Technical Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Approximately 2 years of experience in Data or Business Analysis.
• Software Skills: * Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with reporting tools and dashboard design.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and basic programming.
• Preferred: Knowledge of ServiceNOW and ITIL frameworks.

Soft Skills

• High level of autonomy and a detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills for consulting with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Language & Logistics

• Languages: Fluent in English with a good working knowledge of Dutch.
• Location: Based in Brussels (Minimum 3 days/week onsite; increased presence required during onboarding).

Mission Details

• Duration: 6 months (Extension possible).
• Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible.
