The Role

We are seeking an experienced
Electrically Biased Quality Manager
to join a major data centre substation project in Mons. This is a key site-based role, responsible for
establishing, implementing, and managing the quality system
for all electrical works from early construction through commissioning and handover.

You will work closely with the project team, client representatives, and subcontractors to ensure all works meet contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, implement, and maintain the
  Project Quality Plan (PQP)
  for electrical works
• Lead all
  QA/QC activities
  for HV/MV/LV electrical systems, including substations
• Ensure compliance with
  client specifications, IEC standards, local regulations, and GC procedures
• Review and approve
  ITPs, method statements, inspection checklists, and test records
• Manage
  inspections, audits, and quality reporting
  across the project
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and design teams to resolve quality issues
• Oversee
  non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  , root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Interface with the
  client, consultants, and authorities
  during inspections and handovers
• Support
  energisation, testing, and final documentation
  for project close-out

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong
  electrical background
  (substations, HV/MV systems, or data centre power infrastructure)
• Proven experience as a
  Quality Manager or Senior QA/QC Engineer
  on large-scale projects
• Experience setting up and running
  quality systems from project start
• Solid understanding of
  substation construction and electrical installation standards
• Familiarity with
  data centre projects
  (highly desirable)
• Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and drive quality culture on site
• Proficient in quality documentation, audits, and reporting

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in
  Electrical Engineering
  or related field
• Quality-related certification (ISO 9001, Lead Auditor, or similar) – advantageous
• Fluent English required;
  French is a strong advantage
