About the Role

We are looking for an
Integration Architect
to join an IT Integration Digital Center of Excellence (DCoE) within a large enterprise environment.

The integration landscape is evolving rapidly, with a strong focus on API-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, and a strategic migration away from legacy BizTalk infrastructure. Standardization, governance, and monitoring are key pillars to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.

You will play a central role in defining integration standards, patterns, and architectures, while supporting project teams with your expertise in Azure Integration Services. Collaboration across departments and with multiple IT profiles is a critical success factor for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Architecture & Governance

• Define and promote integration standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Maintain and evolve integration patterns and platforms
• Contribute to the industrialization and continuous improvement of integration processes
• Maintain and enrich integration assets and functional architecture documentation

Project Involvement

• Collaborate on integration projects of various sizes within transversal teams
• Analyze and decompose complex integration requirements
• Design detailed integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards, including:
• Integration flow diagrams
• Interface and message definitions
• Data mappings
• Work closely with integration and domain architects to ensure architectural alignment
• Provide detailed design input and support to integration developers
• Act as Single Point of Contact during the test phase
• Identify scope changes
• Support defect analysis and resolution
• Validate implemented solutions against functional and non-functional requirements
• Provide first-level troubleshooting and analysis in case of incidents
• Communicate progress and proactively propose improvements when needed

Business & Functional Experience

Senior-level experience (5–8 years) in:

• Functional and technical documentation review
• Writing functional specifications
• Data modeling (interfaces, business data models, mappings)
• Integration-focused projects
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns (mapping, orchestration, security, gateways)
• Experience in integration workflow design and functional asset maintenance within a domain

Technical Skills

• Solid experience with Azure Integration Services and related patterns
• Good knowledge of .NET (.NET Framework / .NET 6+), REST / JSON and database concepts (SQL, ETL, data persistence)

Nice to Have

• General technical knowledge (HTTP, certificates, SOAP/XML)
• Experience as a software or application developer
• Experience in testing (test scenarios preparation & execution)
• Experience in large IT organizations (>100 people)
• Background in insurance or financial services
• Experience with external packages, platforms, or heterogeneous environments
• Impact analysis and non-regression testing
• Experience with Document Management Systems
