Senior DevOps Architect

As a DevOps Architect / Lead, you define and implement complex DevOps platforms while remaining hands-on with coding, automation, and architecture. You combine strategic vision with operational execution, leading and coaching multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performance environments. You will work on hybrid cloud, on-premise, and multi-cloud architectures, including pipelines for AI/ML environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define the target DevOps architecture aligned with IT strategy and business objectives
• Implement architecture with development teams, ensuring alignment with business, security, and performance goals
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
• Apply Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
• Automate deployments, testing, security controls, and recurring operational tasks
• Deploy DevOps practices for AI/ML environments, covering the full lifecycle of models and pipelines
• Lead complex DevOps projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery of value
• Integrate security practices (DevSecOps) and enforce compliance and resilience
• Coach teams via pair programming, code reviews, workshops, and documentation

What are we looking for?

Must-haves

• You have
  minimum 10 years of DevOps experience
  , including
  at least 7 years as a solution or integration architect
• You have
  minimum 3 years of experience designing and implementing integration platforms
• You have
  minimum 9 years of experience with hybrid, on-premise, and public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) architectures
• You have
  minimum 9 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), Kubernetes/OpenShift, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm), and Linux (Red Hat)
• You have
  minimum 5 years of experience with DevSecOps and security for CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes
• You have
  minimum 5 years of experience with Python scripting/automation, MLOps (MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC), observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana), and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
• You have
  TOGAF certification
• You have
  professional English
  and
  native or professional fluency in Dutch or French
  (mastery of both FR/NL is a plus)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience defining AS-IS and TO-BE architectures in digital transformation projects
