Dotnet Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to join our team and contribute to exciting, high-impact projects within the FT TISA domain (trading-related applications) . 🔍 Role Overview

As a Back-End Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and integration services. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to the overall software architecture.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust back-end applications and integration services
• Translate user stories and business requirements into high-quality technical solutions
• Work independently and collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Contribute to API development , database integrations, and unit testing
• Apply best practices and design principles to ensure clean, maintainable code

🎯 Required Skills & Competencies

✔ Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in .NET with C#
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET
• Expertise in async/await , OOP , and SOLID principles
• Experience with ORM: Entity Framework or NHibernate
• Strong API development skills: REST or gRPC
• Experience using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL/MySQL)
• Version control experience: Git or similar SCM tools

✔ Testing & Quality

• Experience with unit testing
• Familiarity with mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq, NSubstitute)

✔ Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Collaborative mindset with Agile experience
• Proficiency in English (Dutch or French is a plus)

🎓 Educational Requirements

• A degree in a technical field OR
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in back-end development and integration services
