Exsolvæ is a consulting company based in Brussels, focused on Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. We support organizations through advisory services, technical audits, and end-to-end solution delivery, helping them modernize and scale their data capabilities. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Consultant with a strong background in Azure Databricks to contribute to a major data platform program in Belgium. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and building Azure-based data platforms that support advanced analytics and operational use cases. Working closely with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders, you will transform raw data into reliable, high-value datasets. You will take ownership of data pipelines and processing frameworks, applying best practices in cloud engineering, automation, and data quality to ensure scalable and resilient solutions. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field Languages: Professional fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles Azure Platform: Strong experience with Microsoft Azure , including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse or similar services Extensive hands-on experience developing data pipelines and analytics workloads in Databricks Proven expertise in distributed data processing using Spark Data Reliability: Experience implementing data validation, monitoring, and quality controls Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in client-facing, cross-functional teams Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platforms Experience working in multi-cloud environments Translate business requirements into scalable Azure data Build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark Ensure data pipelines are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance Platform & Data Engineering Design analytical data models supporting reporting and advanced analytics Integrate structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources Apply best practices for data governance, monitoring, and cost control Team & Project Collaboration Work alongside data scientists, engineers, and architects to deliver end-to-end solutions Be Part of the Solver Community: Join a team where collaboration, curiosity, and problem-solving are at the heart of everything we do.
