Customer Service Specialist / Field Service Engineer – Off-Highway
Are you technically skilled and customer-focused? Join Allison Transmissions Bruges as a Customer Service Specialist and become the first point of contact for our customers and service partners. You’ll provide remote and on-site support, deliver training, and help ensure our products perform at their best worldwide.
Location & Travel
✔ Base: Bruges, Belgium
✔ Hybrid work: 1 day/week remote (after onboarding)
✔ International travel: approx. 75% Europe, occasional worldwide
Your impact
✔ Provide technical support to customers and service centers. You can perform simple
interventions yourself.
✔ Organize and deliver product training
✔ Prepare service manuals and technical publications
✔ Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on-site
✔ Collaborate closely with OEMs and internal teams
Responsibilities
✔ Develop training and documentation
✔ Support via email (80%) and phone (20%)
✔ Perform field analysis and problem resolution
✔ Advise on complex service issues
✔ Contribute to product improvements
Must-haves
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics, Automotive or similar
✔ Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
✔ Strong communication and customer focus
✔ Willingness to travel internationally
✔ Recent graduates welcome
