Finance plays a central role in controlling costs, securing margins, managing risk and supporting operational leadership across projects and services.
Role & Key responsibilities (Finance leadership, Controlling)
- Lead and structure the controlling and finance function, ensuring clarity, consistency and reliability across reporting and performance management.
- Translate complex operational and project data into financial insight that supports management decisions and long-term planning.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance follow-up, providing management with forward-looking visibility rather than retrospective explanations.
- Act as a financial sparring partner to senior stakeholders, aligning financial discipline with operational realities.
- Manage and develop a team of controllers or finance professionals, creating structure, ownership and professional growth.
Your background & Experience (Finance, Controlling)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance or controlling, ideally in construction, facilities, utilities or project-based environments .
- 2 years of people management experience, with proven ability to structure and lead teams is a plus
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or business.
