Lead security governance activities : define, maintain, and report on security policies, standards, and procedures across the client environment.
Own the risk management cycle : perform risk assessments, track remediation, and present risk posture and KPIs to senior stakeholders.
Coordinate security operations with service providers : incident handling, threat monitoring, and post-incident reviews (lessons learned, corrective actions).
Drive compliance initiatives : ensure adherence to GDPR, GxP, and relevant EU/Belgian regulations; Advise on security-by-design for projects and changes : review architectures, perform security impact assessments, and approve/guide mitigations.
Develop and maintain security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting ; Mentor team members ; foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement across Transformation & Run teams.
7+ years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years in a senior security/governance role within large enterprise environments.
Demonstrable experience with risk management, policy frameworks, and audit/compliance (GDPR, GxP, ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2).
Hands-on understanding of SOC processes, incident response, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
Ability to produce clear security guidance, reports, and executive presentations; Leadership and influence across cross-functional teams.
