YOUR ROLE

As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. You will participate in the full testing lifecycle—from analysing requirements to executing functional and non‑functional tests and supporting continuous improvement of testing practices.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Analyse, review, and assess requirements and user stories to ensure testability and clarity.
• Design, implement, and maintain test cases and test procedures for both functional and non-functional testing.
• Prepare test data, execute tests, evaluate results, and document defects and deviations from expected outcomes.
• Contribute to the creation of detailed integration and system test plans, including performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
• Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices within the team.

YOUR PROFILE

Must‑haves

• Strong experience in software testing, including system, integration, functional, and non‑functional testing.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices (Agile/Scrum is a plus).
• Knowledge of BDD and commonly used tools such as Cucumber and Selenium.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with technical and functional stakeholders.
• Language skills: fluent in English and fluent in either French or Dutch.

Nice‑to‑haves

• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
• Experience with test automation frameworks or contributing to automated test suites.
