Head of Accounting / Finance

We are recruiting a Director Finance - CFO Advisory in Brussels. Specialized in financial consulting, digital and AI , our clients range from SME’s to big corporations within various sectors (manufacturing, services, SaaS, retail, etc.) and we deliver diverse projects such as accounting & admin support, financial reporting, controlling, treasury, fund raising, finance transformation and AI automation. Each business is unique" is our strong belief, and finance needs to be flexible and creative to support the growth of our clients. We are looking for a Director Finance - CFO Advisory (with a fast track to Partner) ready to take on a challenge that goes far beyond traditional finance. This role is for a Finance Leader : someone able to combine analytical rigor, people management, and strategic vision in an ambitious entrepreneurial environment. As a Director Finance - CFO Advisory , you will be at the heart of VS Consulting group’s performance. You will work directly on client engagements while building a strong sales pipeline, and coordinate and supervise the finance consulting team to support rapid, structured growth. Lead and execute go-to-market strategy aligned to VS Consulting CFO Advisory priorities, driving pipeline development and revenue growth. Lead and mentor VS Advisory team to deliver high-quality outcomes against client objectives. Evaluate and implement financial technologies to improve reporting, analytics, and automation in collaboration with VS Innovate team to promote AI & new technologies. Design and deliver end-to-end finance transformation strategies aligned to client business goals. Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in finance transformation, financial consulting, or related roles. Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading finance transformation projects. In-depth knowledge of financial processes, systems, and technologies. Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving abilities. Business consulting skills offering concrete and specific information to help solve a problem or improve a process for a business: creative thinking; organization and time management; Fluency in English and either Dutch or French (both written and spoken). Location: Brussels (on-site), and Lille with occasional international travel possible
