Accounting Specialist (w/m/d)

Accounting Specialist Competitive salary plus benefits Talent Precision Group is partnering with a global financial services firm to recruit an Accounting Specialist for its growing finance team. This role sits within the Finance function and reports to the Accounting Manager, with responsibility for the day to day accounting of the Belgian entity and support across group level reporting and consolidation. The position offers hands on ownership, exposure to crypto related accounting, and the opportunity to work within a modern finance team undergoing system and process transformation. Own full cycle bookkeeping for the Belgian entity under Belgian GAAP Perform monthly bank and crypto wallet reconciliations across multi currency fiat accounts and on ramp and off ramp transactions Prepare and file monthly VAT returns and support basic corporate tax processes Assist with statutory accounts preparation and annual audit processes Act as the primary point of contact with the Belgian social secretariat and external accounting partners Support finance process automation and the migration of accounting workflows to NetSuite Contribute to ad hoc accounting analysis and finance projects 1 to 5 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience under Belgian GAAP ~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification ~ Strong knowledge of Belgian VAT and core accounting principles ~ Fluent in French and or Dutch with professional level English ~ Experience with crypto wallets and crypto accounting tools such as Cryptio Interest in automation, process improvement, or basic scripting such as Python or Excel VBA Previous experience in a scale up, fintech, trading, or digital asset environment
