Electrical Engineer

For one of our clients in the data center sector, we are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer .

The role involves managing technical projects from start to finish, coordinating teams, and ensuring delivery meets quality, safety, and timeline expectations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical engineering , experience with industrial or infrastructure projects, and solid project management skills.

Your Responsabilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and issue technical submittals, drawings, and method statements for approval.
• Provide engineering support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, structural, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor on-site electrical works to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and best practices.
• Support procurement activities by preparing material take-offs (MTOs), technical evaluations, and vendor assessments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and resolve technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, cost controls, and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring safe systems of work are implemented.
• Provide input to project close-out, as-built documentation, and lessons learned reports.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional accreditation (Chartered Engineer or working towards it) is desirable.
• 3–7 years of relevant project engineering experience, preferably in utilities, substations, energy projects, or large-scale M&E installations .
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, protection, and control equipment.
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, BS, EN, IEEE, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, or other electrical design software is an advantage.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery.
