Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process at our production site in Wanze, with the aim of delivering maximum service to the end customer, while balancing high productivity, low inventory value and minimal overstock.

The Supply Chain Manager manages a team consisting of a production planner, a material planner, 3 warehouse clerks and 5 warehouse operators.

The Supply Chain Manager …

• oversees the sourcing and planning of raw materials and consumables, supervises production planning and sequencing, and supervises order preparation and dispatch.

• participates in day-to-day operations in the absence of one of the planners.

• actively participates in the S&OP process with the aim of achieving a balance between production capacity and commercial requirements over an 18-month horizon.

• prepares and leads the “Supply Review” meeting.

• prepares and leads the “Local S&OP” meeting in order to manage the current and future use of production line capacity.

• manages the S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) process, in which a balance is achieved between mid-term capacity (up to 12 weeks) and sales forecasts.

This includes planning overtime, maintenance shutdowns, R&D tests, stock build-ups, promotions, etc.

• manages the various warehouses for raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Implements a high-performing logistics organisation, driven by key performance indicators related to safety, productivity, quality, warehouse occupancy and inventory accuracy.

• manages critical supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver maximum service at minimum cost. Is responsible for monitoring and improving customer service levels, supplier service levels, obsolete stock, inventory turnover and analysing the root causes of deviations from targets. Works closely with Production in this respect.

• communicates continuously with the Sales Support and Customer Service departments regarding delivery reliability and product availability.

• reviews requests for new promotions and assesses their feasibility. Engages in dialogue with Sales & Marketing to discuss constraints or obstacles and jointly agree on alternative solutions where necessary.

• actively participates in central (Group) projects to improve or harmonise the organisation, processes or systems. Planned for 2026 and 2027 are, among others, the implementation of a new ERP system and new planning tools.

• is responsible for coaching, mentoring and developing his/her team members in order to optimally utilise and further develop their skills, capabilities and expertise.

• works closely with his/her counterpart and the supply chain teams at the Marche-en-Famenne site.

How can you strengthen our teams?

• You hold a Master’s degree and already have several years of experience in supply chain within a production environment.

• You are communicative at all levels, strong in analysis and problem definition, have a good level of assertiveness and are results-driven.

• In addition to an excellent knowledge of French, you have a good knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
