Dotnet Consultant

We’re supporting a major Belgian organisation on a business-critical digital initiative. To strengthen existing delivery teams, we’re looking for a Medior .NET & Python Developer who wants to contribute to building a sustainable, reliable, and future-proof infrastructure.

Logistics

• Role: Freelance .NET & Python Developer (Medior)
• Contract: Long-term assignment
• Location: Brussels (Hybrid – up to 3 days/week remote)
• Languages: English + French or Dutch (with passive understanding of the other)
• Start Date: ASAP / No later than end of February
• Rate: Competitive & negotiable

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality solutions following established development standards
• Work within existing Agile teams alongside internal staff and other contingent workers
• Deliver clean, reliable, and scalable code using modern technologies
• Take ownership of tasks and contribute proactively to team collaboration
• Participate in code reviews and day-to-day team ceremonies

Required Skills

• Solid experience with .NET 8 and Python
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and MongoDB
• Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of accountability
• Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-moving environments
