SAP Senior Functional expert on Finance

As an SAP functional Analyst within the Center of excellence, you will be in charge of the development and the maintenance of the finance and controlling processes with SAP. 
The solution is articulated around SAP FICO (including all core modules GL, AR, AP, FA, new GL, CCA, PCA, COPA, FSCM for credit risk, DRC), with a strong integration with Production (PP), Maintenance (PM), Purchasing (MM) and Sales (SD) modules.
You will work in an international environment (9 countries), a highly collaborative, agile development environment partnering closely with business and other SAP functional analysts and ABAP developers.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Controlling Operations (Run & Maintain)

• Ensure the stable and compliant operation of Finance and Controlling processes in SAP FICO
• Guarantee adherence to the core SAP FICO model, development standards, and procedures
• Provide Level 3 support for Finance and Controlling topics
• Support key users during the rollout of new Finance & Controlling functionalities
• Apply strong Finance and Controlling expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Maintain high-quality functional documentation for Finance and Controlling processes
• Collaborate with System Integrator partners to report, track, and resolve FICO-related development issues

Solution Evolution & Project Delivery

• Act as the functional reference for SAP Finance and Controlling within the European scope
• Lead workshops to analyze and clarify Finance & Controlling business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and effort estimates
• Monitor development activities to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer to support and operational teams
• Design and implement end-to-end Finance & Controlling solutions, including testing and UAT support
• Identify and resolve cross-module integration issues impacting Finance and Controlling
• Work closely with local finance experts and business stakeholders across countries

Qualifications

SAP & Finance Expertise

• Strong and proven experience in Finance and Controlling processes
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO: GL, AR, AP, FA, New GL, CCA, PCA, CO-PA
• Experience with FSCM Credit Risk Management is a plus
• Knowledge of DRC is a plus
• ABAP understanding is an advantage
• Experience working with multi-country European Finance & Controlling setups is a strong plus
