EMEA Insurance Vertical Leader

Exciting opportunity to lead Aon's strategy with insurers, as clients, across EMEA. This role requires strong understanding of the insurance industry, ability to identify client needs, match them to Aon's capabilities, advocate for clients, and coordinate cross‑solution teams, particularly Reinsurance leaders, to deliver an integrated Aon United experience for major insurers.

What the day will look like

  • Own non-ReSol revenue for the region and define a clear multi‑solution growth strategy.
  • Set prospect targets with regional solution line teams (Reinsurance, Commercial Risk, Health, Wealth, Talent) and define and execute the client planningprocess.
  • Partner with ACLs/ECLs (Client Leaders) to strengthen connections with Reinsurance and drive aligned regional team routines.
  • Build and coordinate a regional Insurance Vertical team; run regular calls to share client insights, challenges, events and product updates.
  • Capture actions and support Aon Connect follow‑up processes; ensure opportunities are accurately reflected in GRIDS/Aon Connect.
  • Support Aon Connect onboarding for the region.
  • Peer‑review RFPs and pitch materials to enhance Aon's positioning and improve win rates.
  • Proactively manage jeopardies across solution lines, bringing up early when needed.
  • Support client outreach, especially where there is no dedicated ACL/ECL.
  • Organize at least one annual Insurance Vertical event (e.g., CAB) and additional cross‑solution events where relevant.
  • Ensure event insights are shared with the Insurance Vertical community, Marketing, and product innovation teams.
  • Contribute to Aon United training regionally/globally.
  • Help shape value propositions for priority insurer client segments.
  • Collaborate with solution lines and Marketing to create regional sell sheets and client presentations.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Leading by influence internally and strategic growth mindset
  • Deep understanding of re/insurance markets, capital concepts, analytics, and Aon's modeling tools.
  • Proven ability to own revenue targets and translate strategy into actionable account plans.
  • Strong pipeline discipline and experience improving opportunity conversion through RFP/pitch development.
  • Ability to identify and manage jeopardies effectively.
  • Excellence in client planning, relationship mapping and multi‑solution governance.
  • Confident engagement with senior stakeholders; experienced facilitating CABs and vertical events.
  • Skilled at leading cross‑solution collaboration and aligning diverse teams.
  • Strong CRM rigor, especially GRIDS and Aon Connect.
  • Ability to produce client‑ready collateral with Marketing and solution line partners.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills for C‑suite audiences.
  • Experience delivering cross solution/product line training and coaching teams.
  • Multi-solution growth experience in re/insurance or related sectors; comfortable working across geographies and cultures.
