# Your function

Our client is a leading independent Belgian law firm with a strong reputation in complex and high-profile matters. Within its White Collar Crime & Compliance practice, the team advises and assists both Belgian and international clients in sensitive and often strategically important cases.

As a junior lawyer in the White Collar Crime & Compliance team, you will be involved in a broad range of files from start to finish and work closely with colleagues across different practice groups. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients in complex criminal proceedings and sanction procedures before supervisory authorities
• Advising companies on criminal law aspects of business activities
• Supporting internal investigations and compliance-related matters
• Contributing to the drafting and implementation of internal policies and procedures
• Conducting in-depth legal research and preparing high-quality written submissions
• Participating in multidisciplinary matters together with other practice groups
• Maintaining close interaction with partners and senior lawyers on strategic cases

# Your profile

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in corporate criminal law
• Belgian Master’s degree in Law
• Bilingual French and Dutch, with a good command of English
• Strong attention to detail and a clear focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions while also showing initiative and critical thinking
• Reliable and collegial team player with a professional and pragmatic mindset
• Comfortable working in an intellectually demanding and high-standard environment
