About the role:

While TEFCOLD BE has grown rapidly, there still needs to be a focus on operational performance and customer satisfaction. To unlock full potential, the business are seeking a strong, strategic Logistics & Supply Chain Director to lead transformation and deliver best-in-class logistics and service.

As Logistics & Supply Chain Director , you will play a critical role in optimising supply chain operations, driving efficiency, and elevating customer experience. You will lead the following departments:

  • Transport
  • Warehouse
  • Customer Service
  • Service & Aftersales (with dotted line to Global Technical)

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with growth and profitability goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily warehouse, transport, and customer service operations to ensure top-tier performance.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of 18 employees, fostering engagement and accountability.
  • Inventory & Transport Management: Optimise stock levels, forecasting, and delivery planning.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulations and safety standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless operations.

Key Projects

  • Optimise transport planning, reduce open orders, and reduce delivery time.
  • Improve warehouse efficiency and space utilization.
  • Enhance customer service responsiveness and knowledge.
  • Redesign logistical flows for France.
  • Reduce cost-to-serve while maintaining service excellence.

About the person:

  • Proven experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain leadership.
  • Strong strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability, with proven experience optimising processes, saving time and cutting costs.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills with a passion for improving employee satisfaction and team morale.
  • Ability to drive change and foster a culture of excellence.
