Tech & Data Associate - Tier 1 Law firm

Leading international law firm with a long-standing presence in Belgium and a strong IP/IT department ~ 2–3 years of professional experience with a first experience in tech & data ~ You will work closely with partners and senior associates on high-profile national and international matters, combining advisory and contentious work in a rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape. Advise on data protection and privacy matters (GDPR, international data transfers) Support clients on AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation Handle cybersecurity and data breach incidents Draft and negotiate technology-related commercial contracts Advise on copyright and IP issues related to software and digital content 2–3 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house role, with exposure to IT, data protection, or digital regulation ~ Belgian law degree and admission to the Belgian Bar (or eligibility) ~ Strong analytical and drafting skills, with a genuine interest in technology and innovation ~ Native Dutch speaker, fluent in English and French (additional languages are a plus) ~ Proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow in an international setting Work on cutting-edge legal issues at the intersection of law and technology Be part of a top-tier international firm with strong sector focus Enjoy high-quality training, responsibility, and career development Collaborate with diverse teams and clients across borders My client is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in Brussels and an extensive global network across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and North America.
