Intro
For one of our clients, a leading organization in the financial services sector, we are looking for a Senior Marketing & Communications Strategist to strengthen the Retail Individuals segment.
In this strategic role, you will shape, drive and implement marketing & communications strategies that respond to evolving customer needs, market dynamics and business objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, impact and long-term value creation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor market trends and evolutions in Marketing & Communications (customer needs, technological developments, competitive landscape, etc.) and translate them into strategic insights and opportunities for the Retail Individuals segment
- Support and inspire squads and teams by providing clear strategic direction and insights
- Co-develop, together with the Cluster Lead, the Marketing & Communications strategy for the Retail Individuals cluster (Daily Banking, Lending, Protection), including objectives and KPIs
- Collaborate closely with other Marketing & Communications strategists to ensure alignment with the global marketing strategy
- Identify new strategic marketing and communication opportunities contributing to long-term business objectives
- Monitor strategy execution, report progress to senior management and adjust where necessary
- Translate high-level strategic opportunities into concrete and mature projects
- Contribute to multi-year and annual marketing & communications plans and ensure delivery of key results
- Communicate strategy and priorities clearly and convincingly to stakeholders (Strategy teams, Sales, Tribes, etc.)
- Inspire teams across the organization on marketing & communications topics
- Represent Marketing & Communications in strategic, cross-functional projects
Experience & Competences
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Strategy or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing & Communications strategy
Technical & Business Skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Solid experience in business case development
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Profound expertise in the Marketing & Communications domain
- Proven experience in strategy development and implementation
- Ability to turn abstract ideas into concrete, actionable projects
- Strong project management skills
- Solid organizational insight
- Basic knowledge of Agile principles
- Knowledge of the Retail Individuals segment (Daily Banking, Lending, Protection) is a plus
